PSO Board 2025-2026

We are a group of Parent volunteers committed to our children and MAV! Our purpose is to give back to our school, by creating memorable experiences that will make these formative years fun and enriching for our kiddos

This is Elizabeth's 5th year serving as the PSO President. Originally from NYC,  Elizabeth and her husband, Brad, left the big apple and settled in Cumming, GA in 2017. She and her 3 babies have been part of the MAV family for 7 years; Noemí (Girl - Just graduated from 3rd grade at MAV!), Hayden (Boy - Elementary) and Lisette (Girl - Red Room). She is passionate about giving back to this incredible school, fostering community amongst parents and kiddos, and she thanks you in advance for being patient with her and her circus during carpool line.  

When she is not a human napkin, she is a Senior Director of Business Transformation for a Global Consulting company and enjoys travel, food, design, fashion & conspiracy theories. 

  This will be Karen's seventh year as a MAV parent and her third year serving on the PSO Board. She now has two kiddos at MAV. Tucker is in the Elementary Room and Ava is in the Red Room. Karen and her husband, Chris, moved to Georgia in 2013 and have been in Cumming since 2017. She grew up in WA which is where her and Chris met and married. 

Karen does a bit of everything. When she is on break from being the family chauffeur, she is a substitute/floating teacher at MAV and is a Realtor focusing on residential sales. She enjoys design and crafts, and always has a "brilliant" home project on her mind. Karen loves being a part of the MAV community and is excited to give back again this year.

 Jacquie has a little one at MAV. Her daughter Annabelle is in the Blue room. Jacquie and her husband Brad moved to Georgia in 2018 just before their son Tyler was born. Jacquie grew up in Memphis, TN but has also lived in Nashville,TN, Philadelphia,PA, Columbus,OH, and Boulder,CO. She is happy to be back in the Southeast and loves how much the Alpharetta/Cumming area has to offer families with young children. Jacquie works full-time in the healthcare IT industry. In her free time, she is passionate about spending as much time as possible with her husband and kids. She also enjoys photography projects and crossfit. She is grateful to be part of the MAV community and is looking forward to serving the PSO again this year.
